ELECTRICAL HEAT TRACING (EHT)

Heat trace is an electrical system used to regulate the temperature of pipes, vessels, and other process system equipment. Electric heating uses a resistant element that runs alongside the system components with the objective of making up for heat loss. In some instances these systems are used for heat-up at initial startup or after a power shutdown.

Creating and installing an electrical heat tracing system can be a complicated task and it requires a specific set of skills and knowledge. At InDomus360, we have a combined experience of 20 years and can help you plan and design a quality electrical heat tracing system that can be seamlessly integrated with your operation.

OUR CAPABILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Design standardized heat tracing systems that are aligned with customer specifications.
  • Identify and implement heat tracing requirements from a client’s drawings, specifications and instructions.
  • Prepare heat tracing isometrics, panel schedules, cable and instrument schedules, wiring diagrams, bills of materials (BOMs), and plot plans.
  • Use design software such as CompuTrace, CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, SmartSketch, Navisworks, and others, and established guidelines and procedures to design heat tracing systems.
